Wake up before dawn on Day 3 to witness a spectacle that will stay etched in your memory forever - the Taj Mahal at sunrise, and Mehtab Bagh. Bathed in the golden hues of the rising sun, this architectural masterpiece takes on an ethereal glow, its beauty amplified by the serene silence of the morning. Later get back to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, leave for Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. En-route, make a stop at Sankasya, a town steeped in Buddhist history. Here, you'll visit the Ashoka Pillar and the remains of ancient Buddhist monasteries, where the Buddha delivered several sermons.

After breakfast, travel to Nalanda, the ruins of a renowned ancient university and center of Buddhist learning. After breakfast, drive to Sarnath, the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Learn about the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, the core teachings of Buddhism. Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of this important pilgrimage site.
Later continue to Varanasi, the oldest living city in the world and a major Hindu pilgrimage site. At Varanasi, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later in the evening, take a boat ride on the Ganges River to witness the vibrant life along the ghats, also attend Ganga aarti (Prayers to River Ganges) on the bank of River Ganges, and immerse yourself in the unique rituals and traditions of Varanasi. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
