Start your sightseeing from the Rajghat, the memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Later, visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi. Afterward, drive past President House, and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen's Delhi. Thereafter, visit Humayun's Tomb, built-in 1562, commissioned by Humayun's wife Hamida Banu Begum. Set out on morning & afternoon private jeep safaris inside Bandhavgarh national park, world's largest concentration of elusive Bengal Tigers, and the former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Rewa. At Bandhavgarh, you can spot Bengal Tigers as well as Leopards, Sambar, Barking Deer, Nilgai, Wild Boar, Gaur, Chausingha and Chinkara, the Asiatic jackal, Bengal fox, sloth bear, ratel, grey mongoose, striped hyena, and jungle cat. It is also known for being home to as many as 150 avifauna species. You can spot a number of colourful birds such as Bay Backed Shrike, White Eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, Olive Backed Pipit, Black Headed Oriole, Yellow Crowned Woodpecker, Barred Button Quail, White Browed Fantail Flycatcher, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Alexandrine Parakeet and more. Arrive at Elephanta Island and explore the magnificent Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
