On the day of arrival at Bagdogra airport, Go Book Tours representative will welcome you and transfer you to Darjeeling. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early in the morning before breakfast, visit Tiger Hills located at an altitude of 8364 ft from sea level, to enjoy the view of sunrise fetching over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). Later on the way back, en-route Ghoom Monastery, and Batasia Loop. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Darjeeling, visit Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Later, in the evening get back to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Kalimpong. Upon arrival at Kalimpong, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for a sightseeing of Kalimpong. Start your sightseeing with a visit to the Durpin Hill, wherein you can explore the magnificence of famous Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery, that belongs to the same Buddhist sect as the present Dalai Lama. Later, visit various tourist destinations like Jelapla View Point, Pine View Point, Chitra Bhanu, Kalim Temple and Dr Graham's Homes Complex. Also visit the Delo Hill (5556 ft), the highest point in Kalimpong. From here you can witness the entire Kalimpong, glorious Mt. Kanchenjunga, surrounding villages along with the Relli Valley on one side with the Teesta River on the other. Return to the hotel by evening, overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Gangtok. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, visit the Tashi View Point - which offers a sweeping view of Kanchenjunga snow peaks on a clear day. Later continue your drive to visit Rumtek Monastery - one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim, perched on top of a hill 23 km from Gangtok. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day sightseeing of Gangtok. Start your sightseeing with a visit to the Hanuman Tok - a temple complex located in the upper reaches of Gangtok, dedicated to lord Hanuman, and maintained by the Indian army. Also, visit Ganesh Tok, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday), Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Do Drul Chorten Monastery, and Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park. Later in the evening, get back to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Phuentsholing (Bhutan Border). Upon arrival at Phuentsholing, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or free for own activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Thimphu. Upon arrival at Thimphu, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, later in the evening head out for an exploratory walk around Thimphu main street and market area. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, head-out to enjoy the sightseeing of Thimphu, visit Pangri Zampa Monastery for astrology session, later visit the National Library - housing an extensive collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts, the Institute for Zorig Chusum (commonly known as the Painting School), Textile Museum, and Simply Bhutan - a living museum and studio encapsulating the cultural heritage of the Bhutanese people. After that visit Changangkha Lhakhang - a fortress like temple and monastic school perched on a ridge above Thimphu, south of Motithang. Afterwards drive to Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley. If time permits, visit the King's Memorial Chorten continuously circumambulated by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Punakha. On your way to Punakha, halt at Dochula pass (3100mts) for a photo break, this pass makes the drive from Thimphu to Punakha one of the most beautiful pass in Bhutan. 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, built over the pass by queen mother in 2003 marks the pass more important than another passes. In a clear weather, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the highest mountains of Bhutan. Later continue your drive to Punakha. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later in the afternoon visit the most beautiful Punakha Dzong, which houses the most elaborated temple in the country. The Dzong, showcase the finest example of the arts and crafts of Bhutan. After that trek to Chimi Lhakhang, situated on a hillock in the centre of the valley, also known as the temple of fertility. A walk through the village near the temple will give you rare glimpses into the daily life and lifestyle of the villagers. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Paro. En-route stop at Wangdue Phodrang to visit Wangdue Dzong and the local market. Upon arrival at Paro, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, hike to Taktsang Monastery or Tiger Nest. The temple is located in the sacred rock, which is believed to have been blessed by Guru Rinpoche in the 8th century. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche flew to this site on a tigress' back to subdue a local demon. Thereafter, he meditated here for three months. Visiting Tiger's Nest temple will be rewarded with a breathtaking view and ones in a lifetime memory. It takes almost 2 hours to walk up at an average pace. Although the main building of the temple was destroyed by fire on April 1998, it rebuilt to former glory in 2001. The hike up to the viewpoint is worthwhile and fulfilling. In the afternoon, visit Ta Dzong, originally built as Watchtower, which now houses National Museum. Also visit Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, and Drukgyel Dzong. Overnight stay at the hotel.
