Tour Itinerary

Namaste and welcome to India! On the day of arrival at Mumbai Airport, Our Go Book Tours representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, head towards the Gateway of India, an iconic landmark overlooking the Arabian Sea. Spend some time taking photos and enjoying the view. Walk to the nearby Mumbai Harbor and catch a ferry to Elephanta Island. The ferry ride takes about an hour, providing scenic views of the Mumbai coastline.

Arrive at Elephanta Island and explore the magnificent Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These ancient rock-cut caves date back to the 5th to 8th centuries and feature intricately carved sculptures and temples dedicated to various Hindu deities, primarily Lord Shiva. Later return to Mumbai via ferry.

Once back in Mumbai, head to Prince of Wales Museum, you can find interesting artifacts of Indus Valley civilization here. Later visit Mani Bhavan, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi.

After that Visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning Victorian-Gothic architecture. Take a moment to appreciate the intricate details of this historic railway station.

Upon arrival in Indore, our representative will greet you and facilitate your transfer to Ujjain. Once in Ujjain, check-in at your hotel and take some time to relax after your journey. If time permits, you can explore the local surroundings and immerse yourself in the ancient charm of the city. Enjoy a delectable dinner and settle in for a comfortable overnight stay in Ujjain.

Early in the morning, embark on a spiritual journey to the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain for a divine darshan (visit). Experience the serene atmosphere as you offer prayers at one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. After the darshan, return to your hotel for breakfast and check-out. Proceed to Omkareshwar, another sacred pilgrimage site situated on the banks of the Narmada River. Pay homage at the revered Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and soak in the tranquillity of the surroundings. Later in the afternoon, continue your journey to Indore. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Enjoy dinner and retire for the night in Indore.

Embark on an excursion trip to the historic towns of Mandu and Maheshwar. After breakfast, drive to Mandu, a captivating fortress town renowned for its architectural marvels and scenic beauty. Explore significant landmarks such as the Jahaz Mahal, Mandu Fort, and Hoshang Shah's Tomb. Next, proceed to Maheshwar, a picturesque town nestled along the banks of the Narmada River. Visit the majestic Maheshwar Fort and take a leisurely stroll along the riverfront ghats. In the evening, return to Indore. After fresh-n-up, head-out to visit the iconic Taj-ul-Masajid, one of the largest mosques in India. Admire the grand architecture and serene ambiance of this historic landmark. After breakfast at the resort, leave for Satpura National Park. On the way visit Bhimbetka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient rock shelters and cave paintings dating back thousands of years. On arrival at the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters and explore the fascinating archaeological site with a knowledgeable guide. Wander among the sandstone formations, marveling at the intricate paintings depicting scenes from prehistoric life, including hunting, dancing, and daily rituals.

Later depart from Bhimbetka and continue your journey towards Satpura Tiger Reserve.

Experience an excursion trip from Satpura to Pachmarhi, a charming hill station nestled amidst lush greenery and cascading waterfalls. Sit back and relax as you drive through picturesque landscapes, passing by quaint villages and rolling hills.

On arrival in Pachmarhi and head straight to your first destination, the spectacular Bee Falls. Marvel at the breathtaking cascade of water plunging into a serene pool below. Take some time to soak in the tranquil ambiance and capture memorable photos of this natural wonder. Continue your exploration with a visit to Jata Shankar, a sacred cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Admire the unique rock formations inside the cave and feel the spiritual aura surrounding this revered site.

Around 1:00 PM, treat yourself to a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of traditional cuisine. After lunch proceed to Handi Khoh, a magnificent gorge known for its panoramic views and rugged beauty. Stand in awe as you gaze down into the deep abyss carved by the Narmada River over centuries.

Later make your way to Dhoopgarh, the highest point in the Satpura range, to witness a mesmerizing sunset. Climb to the summit and behold the breathtaking vista stretching as far as the eye can see. As dusk descends, begin your journey back to Satpura, cherishing the memories of your day trip to Pachmarhi. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort in Satpura National Park.

After breakfast at the resort, leave for Kanha National Park - one of the most well-maintained national parks in Asia. This park was an inspiration behind the popular novel by Rudyard Kipling - The Jungle Book. Spread in 940 sq. km of land, this national park has Indian wild dogs, Royal Bengal Tiger, sloth bears, leopards, and barasingha in good numbers. Upon arrival at the national park, check-in at the resort. Rest of the day at leisure, indulge yourself in leisure activities such as taking a walk in the nearby area, enjoying the lush greenery around, interacting with the park's naturalist and so on. Enjoy 2 jeep safari's inside the National Park, one early in the morning and second later in the afternoon. Explore the exotic variety of the park, also enjoy the verdant flora that is spread around. Kanha is known for housing more than 1000 species of flowering plants. During wildlife viewing, you can spot varied animals and birds like, Royal Bengal Tiger, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, jackal fox, sambar, gaur, peafowl, mongoose, leopard, python, spurfowl, ring doves, kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers, flycatchers, pintails, pond herons, rock pigeons, papihas, cuckoos, parakeets, green pigeons and so on. Renowned for its rich avifauna diversity, the park hosts up to 150 bird species, including vibrant sightings like Bay Backed Shrike, White Eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, and Olive Backed Pipit. Among the numerous avian delights are the Black Headed Oriole, Yellow Crowned Woodpecker, Barred Button Quail, White Browed Fantail Flycatcher, Rose Ringed Parakeet, and Alexandrine Parakeet. Additionally, explore the historic Bandhavgarh Fort nestled within the park's confines. Perched atop a hill approximately 811 meters above sea level, this ancient fort boasts a storied past dating back over 2000 years and houses 39 caves. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Early in the morning, leave for Khajuraho. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. After fresh-n-up, head-out to start your Khajuraho sightseeing with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Western Group of Temples. The exquisitely carved stone temples are famous for the images of the Kama Sutra and, with 22 temples in total spread over 20 square kilometres, make a truly spectacular sight. Here Kandariya Mahadev temple is the most popular and beautiful massive structure. It is a magnificent peace of artistic sculptural work. After this we will visit to Eastern group of temples. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Orchha. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. After fresh-n-up, head-out to explore Orchha, the capital of the mighty Bundela Rajput kings. Start your sightseeing with a visit at Jehangir Mahal, later visit the Raj Mahal, Phool Bagh, Dinman Hardaul's Palace and Sunder Mahal. Also visit the highly preserved temples of Orchha. The two main temples at Orchha are 'The Ram Raja Temple' and 'The Chaturbhuj Temple'. Overnight stay at the hotel in Orchha.

After breakfast at the hotel, start your Gwalior sightseeing with a visit to the 5th century hill-top Gwalior Fort, situated at 300 feet high above the ground and it is considered as one of the most invincible forts in India. Other sightseeing attractions includes Gopachal Parvat Jaina monuments, a group of Jain carvings dated to between 7th and 15th century. Other attractions includes Suraj Kund, the 9th century Teli Ka Mandir, the 11th century Sas Bahu ka Mandir, and Jai Vilas Palace & Museum.

After Gwalior sightseeing, our representative will transfer you to Gwalior railway station to board a train to Agra. Upon arrival at Agra railway station, our local representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay.

Early morning before sunrise our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you for a guided tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Akbar in the late 16th century. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure, later in the evening take a stroll inside the beautiful market of the historic walled pink city of Jaipur, where the old ways of life continue uninterrupted. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour of Jaipur. Start you sightseeing with the iconic attraction of Rajasthan "Amber Fort and Palace", A UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Raja Man Singh in 1592 in red sandstone and marble. The magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, divided into several sections. It stands on top of an easily scalable mountain, which is situated right next to the beautiful Maota Lake. The fort's majestic appearance and its geographical advantages make it a special place to visit. After Amber Fort, visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace), City Palace, Jantar Mantar, The Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds), Albert Hall Museum, and Birla Mandir. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Today, proceed for a full-day sightseeing of Delhi. The National Capital of India, Delhi has been in existence since the 6th century BC. Start your sightseeing from the Rajghat, the memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Later, visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi. Afterwards, drive past President House, and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen's Delhi. Thereafter, visit Humayun's Tomb, built in 1562, commissioned by Humayun's wife Hamida Banu Begum. Later in the evening visit the Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak. Overnight stay at the hotel.
