Tour Highlights
Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Lucknow by GoBook Tours representative, and will be transferred to Ayodhya, the Birthplace of Lord Rama, and the setting of the great Ramayana. Your drive from Lucknow to Ayodhya is about 135 Km taking approximately 3 hours.
Upon arrival visit the holy Sarayu River, where thousands of pilgrims take a sacred bath. Later visit Shri Ram Janam Bhumi, the birthplace of Lord Rama, believed to be the seventh avatar of the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu.
Later visit other important sites in Ayodhya including Hanuman Garhi Mandir, Kanak Bhawan, Sita Ki Rasoi, Dashrath Mahal, Tulsi Smarak Bhavan, and Ram Katha Sangrahalay. In Ayodhya several religions have grown and prospered simultaneously and also at different periods of time in the past. Remnants of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam can still be found in Ayodhya.
Post lunch we'll reach Kanchan Bhawan from where you will start the Mokshadayani Heritage Walk to Nageshwar Dham. After the walk, board a boat to enjoy a short ride on the fast flowing river. Later in the evening, attend the Aarti Ceremony (a Hindu religious ritual of worship) on the banks of Saryu River. Later we'll transfer you back to your hotel or airport in Lucknow for onward journey.
