On arrival at Bagdogra airport, our Go Book Tours representative will warmly greet you and drive you to Darjeeling, a charming town nestled amidst the majestic Himalayan mountains. En route, you can stop for refreshments or lunch (at your own expense) and continue the scenic drive to Darjeeling, known as the "Queen of Hills," situated at an elevation of 2100 meters above sea level. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check in at the hotel and enjoy leisure time. In the evening, explore Mall Road and Chowrasta, where you can stroll around, savor Darjeeling Tea, and soak in the atmosphere. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early this morning at 4:00 am, you have the option to visit Tiger Hill (subject to weather conditions and permit availability). Tiger Hill is renowned for its breathtaking sunrise views, offering a stunning panorama of the majestic Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. Later, on your way back to the hotel, visit Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop War Memorial. After breakfast, embark on a half-day local sightseeing tour covering Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, and enjoy panoramic views of the tea gardens.
In the evening, take some time to explore the local market and shop for unique gifts and souvenirs from Darjeeling. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Following breakfast, embark on a visit to the Happy Valley Tea Garden for a guided tour and delightful tea tasting experience. Afterwards, enjoy a visit to the Ropeway (subject to operational conditions) and explore attractions like the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Zoo), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), and the Tibetan Refugee Centre. Return to the hotel after your sightseeing adventures.
In the evening, you have the option to explore the local market and discover unique gifts and souvenirs to bring home from your Darjeeling experience.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Tinchuley and Takdah. Begin your day by visiting the Orchid Center in Takdah, a charming village located approximately 28 kilometers from Darjeeling. Next, explore the Gumba Dara Viewpoint in Tinchuley, offering the best views of the Kanchenjunga mountain ranges. Continue your journey with visits to Tinchuley Monastery, Lovers Viewpoint, and enjoy a nature walk in Lamahatta amidst Alpine forests and roadside gardens. Conclude your day with a visit to a sacred lake before returning to Darjeeling for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Following breakfast at the resort, a representative from Go Book Tours will accompany you to Bagdogra Airport to board a flight to home or onward destination.
