Upon arrival at Trivandrum International Airport, a representative welcomes you and escorts you in a comfortable car to your pre-booked beach resort in Kovalam (approximately a 1-hour drive). After checking, rest and relax at the resort. In the evening, unwind on the beaches of Kovalam, choosing between Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, or Samudra Beach. Enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many beachside restaurants offering fresh seafood or local cuisine. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kovalam.
Start your morning with a visit to the majestic Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, an architectural marvel dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Be sure to dress modestly (long pants or skirts for both men and women) as this is a functioning temple. In the afternoon, head to the Napier Museum, a treasure trove of Kerala's history and art. Rise early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Indian Ocean from your hotel in Kovalam. After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India (approximately a 2-hour drive). On your way, stop at the Padmanabhapuram Palace, a wooden architectural marvel that served as the seat of the Travancore royal family. Be amazed by the intricate carvings and detailed artwork adorning the palace.
Upon reaching Kanyakumari, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a towering structure built on a rock offshore.
